Barrizar is an energy services cooperative based in Markina-Xemein, in the Spanish Basque country. Barrizar's final aim is to save energy to reduce CO2 emissions and the energy bills of its members and clients.
Barrizar energy cooperative works on three main areas:
- Renewable energy generation. Barrizar designs and promotes renewable energy installations with different technologies.
- Energy audits and studies. Barrizar performs energy audits to allow public institutions, companies, citizens or communities improve their energy efficiency and designs energy plans for the deployment of renewable energy.
- Energy efficiency consultancy. Barrizar provides consultancy services on energy efficiency.
