ENERKOM Podlipansko

ENERKOM Podlipansko is a non-profit regional initiative based in Central Bohemia, Czech Republic, dedicated to empowering local communities in their transition to clean, democratic, and resilient energy systems. Our mission is to support the creation and coordination of energy communities, bringing together municipalities, citizens, and small local businesses to jointly manage and benefit from local energy resources.

We were founded by LAG Podlipansko, a well-established local development group that has been supporting regional cooperation and community development for over 20 years. In 2025, LAG Podlipansko celebrates two decades of trusted service to the region—this deep-rooted experience forms the backbone of our approach.

At ENERKOM, we believe that real change starts locally and grows from trust, cooperation, and shared goals. That’s why we focus on gradual, step-by-step support, helping communities build both capacity and confidence.

Our core activities include:

• Promoting energy savings and smart energy management in public and private buildings
• Establishing One-Stop-Shops (OSS) to guide citizens and municipalities through the renovation process and community energy development
• We want to initiate local and regional federations of energy communities
• Assisting in the preparation of projects focused on solar PV, wind energy, biomass heating systems, and sustainable mobility solutions

As a regional energy community coordinator, we provide independent advice, technical guidance, and facilitation of stakeholder cooperation. Our long-term vision is to build an energy-conscious and sustainable region, where energy is locally produced, efficiently used, and fairly shared.

Though we are a young initiative, our roots in LAG Podlipansko give us the strength of community experience, and we strive to grow with humility, learning from others and contributing where we can.
