Izgrei is currently developing the first energy community pilot project in Bulgaria. It will be 4kW solar PV installation for self-consumption of the community and any excess will be sold to the grid. In addition, they are involved in renovation of a building and they will share this model with others once completed. Lastly, they are looking to carry out energy poverty alleviation actions, as Bulgaria has the most energy poor citizens in EU.
In the future, they would like to generate energy from other renewable energy sources besides sun.
