KLIK is an energy cooperative that helps the city of Križevci move towards a 100% renewable energy model by developing renewable energy projects, offering one stop shop service for citizens projects, and educating the local community.
KLIK, which stands for Križevački laboratorij inovacija za klimu (Križevci’s laboratory for climate innovation, in English), is an energy cooperative that aims to raise awareness on the energy transition, energy efficiency, renewable energy use, and how these fit together in a climate neutral Europe. More specifically, KLIK carries out the following activities:
In 2021, KLIK and the municipality of Križevci established an Energy and Climate office – first of its kind in Croatia – that aims to promote the energy transition and make the local community more resilient. To make things easier for citizens, the office works with a one-stop-shop approach.
In 2023, the Energy and Climate office opened an energy poverty center with the aim of educating citizens about energy efficiency measures that can bring significant energy savings to their homes.
