Viure de la’aire is a community energy project created to install the first community-owned wind turbine in Spain. After several years of preparatory work, the wind turbine was installed in 2017 in the municipality of Pujalt and it is generating energy since 2018. The energy produced by the wind turbine covers the energy needs of 2,000 families.

The project was possible thanks to the contribution of 615 families and organisations and Eolpop, the private company created to manage the project.

Viure de la’aire recorded a documentary, which you can watch below, about the installation of the wind turbine.
