I joined REScoop.eu in 2018. Since then, I’ve taken on different roles in the team:

Project management: I have led and supported several projects on behalf of REScoop.eu, and am currently coordinating the Energy Communities Repository, a service contract with the European Commission.

Proposal writing: Over the years, I have contributed to a number of project proposals, and coordinated the proposal process for the Energy Communities Repository.

Strategy development: I coordinated the strategy development process for REScoop.eu in 2021. This included setting up and facilitating workshops with the team and board members to brainstorm on strategic priorities and provide inputs and feedback on different stages of the strategy process, as well as the creation of a strategy document the federation can use as a guiding document moving forward.

Workshop facilitation: I’ve organized and facilitated workshops with different types of actors (energy community members, future energy community leaders and trainers, workshops bringing together citizens, municipalities, businesses and regional or national government representatives), always with the aim to bring about better understanding, better collaboration, and increase the skills and confidence of the workshop participants.

Team coordination and human resources management: As part of our Human Resources working group, I’ve been involved in setting up an internal review system, realistic goal-setting for the team, internal feedback mechanisms, and overall team coordination support.

Communications: I was in charge of the communications activities for the first phase of the Clean Energy for EU Islands Secretariat, and developed some visuals (i.e. the Community Energy Donut, graphic facilitation during events) over the last few years.

Before joining REScoop.eu, I worked in the European Climate Foundation’s international communications team for several years, where I learned how to effectively share climate and energy related stories across the globe, write opinion pieces, communicate with journalists, and translate scientific and technical information into “normal people’s language”.
