The Best practice report 1, published in 2013 under the project REScoop 20-20-20, examines fifteen best practice examples across Europe, providing valuable insights for new and existing energy communities. It also constitutes a base for further research in the REScoop 20-20-20 project, aiming to confirm the importance and effectiveness of energy communities to accelerate the acceptance and installation of renewables.

The target group are citizens wishing to create a start-up tool to form a new community to help existing and emerging REScoops.

The research method is based on interviews with the project leaders of the selected best practice examples.
