Online guidelines for the creation of a OSS for energy communities

Developed under the LIFE ECOEMPOWER project, this guide walks through the key steps for setting up a One-Stop-Shop (OSS) for energy communities, drawing on lessons learned during the project’s implementation.

These steps cover mobilising local stakeholders, developing a strategic plan, launching the platform operationally, and rolling out a service offering roadmap. Each step comes with a detailed methodology, illustrated with concrete feedback from the existing OSS run by Association des Centrales Villageoises. The guide also offers practical tips on implementation costs, setup timelines, and other hands-on considerations.

The aim is to help energy communities across Europe replicate good practices and set up their own one-stop-shops with confidence.
