Calculation tools for the local energy transition and district heating

An important part of the energy transition is the increase in energy sufficency and renewable energy. The toolkit ‘Energy Transition Calculation Models’ helps municipalities, housing corporations and energy cooperatives to solve their energy issues faster and more effectively by using proven models.

The toolkit is a collection site, which contains both open source public and closed source commercial tools.

It provides a graphical decision aid that outlines a total overview of calculation models, as well as an overview that places mathematical models in the context of a process for local energy transition or transition vision for heat, and an online selection tool which makes it easy to determine which calculation models can be used for a particular issue.
