A community-based Virtual Power Plant (cVPP) aims to create environmental, social and economical value for and by the community, which can only be achieved if the community is involved. During the process of exploring the cVPP possibilities, questions regarding community engagement will rise.

This crash course offers support to participants in developing an approach to engage the broader community. It gives background information on community engagement, but it is not a tool for developing a community engagement strategy.
