On 28 June 2019, the Dutch cabinet published the Climate Agreement: The Dutch elaboration of the UNFCCC’s Paris Agreement. The Climate Agreement foresees to sharply reduce CO2 emissions, halfing them compared to 1990 by 2030.
Part of the Climate Agreement is that 30 energy regions in the Netherlands will investigate where and how best to generate sustainable electricity on land (wind and solar), as well as which heat sources can be used so that neighbourhoods and buildings can get rid of natural gas.
Where is there space and how much? Are the places socially acceptable and financially viable? Check out your region (in the Netherlands)?
Do you want to know if your home is ready for a heat pump, or if you need to make adjustments first? And do you live in the Netherlands? Then take part in the Heating Test to understand your options!
This workbook helps locally operating organisations and initiatives to identify what people care about and connect with, and how to work together to realize projects.
