The Nationale EnergieAtlas (NEA) is the platform for information on energy in the Netherlands.

Energy supply is changing. There are more and more private solar panels and the government is investing in more large-scale sustainable generation such as windmills. Transport is becoming increasingly electric and district heating is replacing gas in new buildings and renovations.

But don’t worry: this atlas offers overview and information on this complex landscape. It provides maps on existing traditional and sustainable energy, as well as insight into the potential of areas to become more sustainable. The NEA shows technical-physical potential and rough indications of economic feasibility.

The goal: to be optimally prepared for the energy transition!
